Economics as a subject is regarded the bedrock of all management and social science-based disciplines. The persistently low level students’ achievement in senior secondary school (SSS II) examinations has become thing great concern to stakeholders. This study examined performance SSS II qualifying examination Kano State influence gender schools’ nature on their performances Economics. An ex-post-facto design descriptive research was adopted for study. A proforma used collect data from sample 300 students, selected using stratified random sampling procedure schools State, Nigeria. collected were test. analysed statistics an independent t-test.
